Outreach Local
We show God’s love by offering to do humble acts of service — with no strings attached.
It’s a simple, straightforward approach.
We strive to connect and relate to people as Jesus did by joyfully serving our way into their hearts.
Soap N Stuff Pantry
A ministry that distributes toiletries to those in need in Newberg.
We partner with Love INC who has a proven model that networks local churches, church volunteers, and community organizations together to help people in need. Through Love INC, churches and individual Christians are mobilized to work together across denominational lines to provide coordinated help to the poor with practical goods and services. Life skills training and transitional housing programs are set up to address the deeper need of the families that we serve.
Non-Pantry Food
In an effort to help our community, we are partnering with Love INC. by collecting non-food essentials for families in need. Donated items can be dropped off in the church office Monday - Thursday from 9 AM - 3 PM or on Sunday mornings during our normal service times. If you prefer, we also accept monetary donations in order to purchase needed items. You can donate here and select Soap N Stuff from the dropdown. Thank you for considering helping our community in this way.

Safe Families
“The problem with the world is that we draw the circle of our family too small.” – Mother Theresa
Every year, several million children in the U.S. find themselves living in a home overwhelmed by crisis. Poverty, loss of job or a home can often result in child neglect, or worse. These issues are compounded by families living in isolation, with little to no community to turn to in times of need.
This is where we come in. Safe Families provides a safe home for children and a supportive community for parents while they get back on their feet. Parents are provided with the space and support they need to address the issues impacting their ability to provide the best environment for their children.
There are many ways to get involved with the Safe Families for Children movement. Find your opportunity by clicking the button below.

The Fold
Everyone needs help sometimes. On the last Monday of every month, from 4-6pm we help people in a simple way at the laundromat. We cover laundry costs and offer friendly conversation to anyone that may find themselves in need of this kind of help. Join us this month at 201 West 1st st. Newberg. We love, laugh and learn about the needs of the community while we serve 40-50 loads of laundry each month.
Widows Might
Widow’s Might is a group that is part service organization, part ministry and part support group for women who have lost their spouses.
The group includes about 50 women in the Newberg area and meets twice a month.
Feed Newberg
Northside Community Church has a passion to stand in the gap for those in need by offering access to food and food services. Through generous donations made by local businesses and community partners, we were able to renovate and open Feed Newberg in 2024. We serve dinners at our kitchen three days a week (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), where all are welcome.
