Living Beyond Myself

 
We believe that as followers of Christ, who are committed to living out the Great Commission, that we must live lives that meet needs beyond simply living for ourselves. We believe that serving God and serving others is interchangeable, and non-negotiable if we are going to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ. We seek to create an atmosphere and attitude committed to lives of service by first understanding that EVERYONE has been given gifts by the Holy Spirit. We can choose to develop and use these gifts in many areas - our community, our families, our workplace and in the church. 
 
We have made available the current Serve Opportunities as downloadable PDF files, listed by ministry team or area in the church. Listed are both First Serve and Consistent Serve opportunities. A First Serve is often a one-time, light commitment level, first step into church ministry service where you are encouraged to simply give serving a try, no matter if you "know" what your gifts, passions or skills are. The Consistent Serve opportunities are roles and responsibilities that are ongoing opportunities where we hope that the fit aligns in such a way with your gifts, passions and skills, that along with fulfilling a need in the church community, that ultimately, YOU are fulfilled as you serve on the team!
